Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A) safely and efficiently on designated delivery routes.
- Load and unload trailers using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Complete all necessary delivery documentation, invoices, and paperwork accurately.
- Maintain a professional appearance and provide excellent customer service during deliveries.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Must possess a clean driving record (no more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and a drug screen.
- Willingness to work Night Shift schedules (typically 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
- Basic mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues.
