Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers for overnight delivery routes within Kansas
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and ensure compliance with DOT regulations
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment and documentation
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records
- Communicate with dispatch team via remote systems during off-hours
- Adapt to changing schedules and delivery priorities
- Uphold company safety standards at all times
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year of tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts
- Strong knowledge of Kansas roadways and weather conditions
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic familiarity with electronic logging devices
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
