Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for local and regional night routes
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and maintain accurate logbooks
- Load/unload freight with precision using forklift equipment when required
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance issues promptly
- Navigate efficiently through Raleigh metro areas and surrounding regions
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and clients regarding delivery status
- Maintain clean and professional vehicle appearance at all times
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs regularly and withstand variable weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Excellent time management and route optimization skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Pass background check and drug screening requirements
- Must be available for overnight shifts (typically 7 PM - 5 AM)
