Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A vehicles safely and efficiently during assigned night shifts.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks).
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and adhere to DOT regulations.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of freight to local Phoenix and regional destinations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route changes or delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Current Medical Certificate (DOT compliant) valid for at least 6 months.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Must be available to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10 PM - 6 AM).
- Strong knowledge of Phoenix metro area roadways and traffic patterns.
