Your Responsibilities
As a Night Shift Driver, you will be the face of our logistics operations. Your primary focus will be the safe and timely delivery of freight across the state of Florida and related regions.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Operate commercial delivery vehicles safely and efficiently during night hours.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate lifting equipment and hand tools.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and issues.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A License required.
- Current DOT Medical Card (Medical Examiner's Certificate).
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the last 3-5 years.
- Ability to work flexible night shifts (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Strong knowledge of state and federal driving regulations.
- Basic computer literacy for logging and reporting.
