Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A or Class B trucks to deliver cargo to designated locations.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and daily logs.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times and route changes.
- Load and unload cargo securely using proper lifting techniques and tie-down equipment.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR) with no more than 1 moving violation in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination and drug screening.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of road maps and navigation systems.
- Ability to work night shifts and weekends as required.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
