Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A or B) following all DOT regulations and company policies during night hours.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical integrity and safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo accurately, utilizing material handling equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks.
- Maintain accurate records using Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) and delivery paperwork.
- Navigate complex routes efficiently to meet strict delivery deadlines and schedules.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding cargo status and any delays.
- Uphold the highest standards of safety and professionalism at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with the proper endorsements (Hazmat, Tanker, or Doubles/Triples preferred but not required).
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
