Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and tractor-trailers on designated routes in and around Oklahoma City.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper weight distribution and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and vehicle inspection reports (DVIR).
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding pickup and delivery times and any delays.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe operating condition.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B CDL (Commercial Driver's License) with a clean driving record.
- Current Medical Card and DOT physical examination clearance.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience in a commercial setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong time management skills to meet tight delivery schedules.
- Willingness to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues.
