Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and vans in a safe and professional manner at night.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and delivery schedules.
- Communicate clearly with dispatch and customers to ensure timely service.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or Class B required (Class A preferred for night shifts).
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT card) and clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (typically 10-12 hours).
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
