Job Overview:
We are seeking reliable, safety-conscious individuals to operate commercial vehicles and transport goods across the region. You will be responsible for ensuring timely delivery while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A or Class B commercial trucks during assigned night shifts.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment and techniques.
- Maintain accurate logs and records in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
- Ensure the cargo area is clean and secure before departure.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Current Medical Certificate (DOT Card) and DOT Drug Screening clearance.
- Ability to pass a background check and motor vehicle record (MVR) review.
- Availability to work rotating night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Strong knowledge of New Orleans area roads and routes is a plus.
