Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles during overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Transport freight between Memphis distribution centers and regional hubs
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and document maintenance requirements
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records (ELD compliance)
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
- Adhere to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Secure cargo and verify delivery documentation at each stop
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (3+ years experience)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of Memphis metro area and regional highway systems
- Overnight shift availability with reliable transportation to depot
- Pass background check and drug screening per DOT requirements
- Experience with flatbed or dry van freight preferred
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication and time management abilities
