Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A or B) to deliver freight safely and efficiently on the night shift.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (DVIR) to ensure safety compliance.
- Secure cargo properly using straps and chains, ensuring no damage occurs during transport.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and adhere to all DOT regulations.
- Load and unload trailers quickly and safely, following all safety protocols.
- Communicate regularly with dispatch and customers to ensure timely deliveries.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Current DOT Medical Card (Medical Examiner's Certificate).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable truck driving experience.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and map reading.
- Must be willing to pass a background check and drug screen.
