Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently on designated routes within Indianapolis and surrounding areas.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle and cargo safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo accurately, adhering to weight limits and safety protocols.
- Complete all necessary paperwork, including logs and delivery receipts, in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean driving record and strictly follow Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and potential delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (Class A or Class B) with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Willingness to work night shifts (10 PM - 6 AM).
- Previous experience in truck driving or logistics is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
