Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently in accordance with company policies and DOT regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper handling of all freight.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and potential delays.
- Uphold a professional image at all times, including uniform and grooming standards.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B with appropriate endorsements (Tanker, Hazmat, Doubles/Triples preferred).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR) with no serious traffic violations.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong commitment to safety and punctuality.
- Ability to work night shifts as scheduled.
