Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and trailers safely and efficiently on local and regional routes within San Diego.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety standards.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment with accuracy and care.
- Maintain accurate logs, delivery receipts, and all required documentation.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Excellent driving record with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to work flexible night shift schedules, including weekends and holidays.
- Strong customer service skills and attention to detail.
