Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for nighttime cargo transport
- Execute pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch for route optimization and delivery schedules
- Handle secure cargo loading/unloading with proper documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Report maintenance issues and coordinate vehicle servicing
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Flexibility for rotating weekend shifts as needed
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Knowledge of California highway systems and restrictions
- HAZMAT endorsement preferred but not required
