Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently on designated routes throughout Texas and the Southwest region.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations and company safety standards.
- Load and unload cargo accurately, ensuring all freight is secured properly for transit.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and complete all necessary delivery paperwork.
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws, company policies, and DOT regulations at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3-5 years).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to work night shifts (typically 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM) and weekends.
- Strong mechanical aptitude for basic truck maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Experience with flatbed, dry van, or tanker freight is highly preferred.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
