Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Operate commercial vehicles in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws.
- Load and unload cargo safely using proper handling techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate logs and delivery documentation (ELD, BOL, etc.).
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and issues.
- Perform minor vehicle maintenance checks and report mechanical issues immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3-5 years.
- Experience in Night Shift driving is highly preferred.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong time management and navigation skills.
