Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for local/regional deliveries during overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Perform pre-trip inspections, routine maintenance checks, and secure cargo according to DOT regulations
- Optimize delivery routes to maintain strict on-time performance metrics
- Complete accurate delivery documentation and electronic logging (ELD) compliance
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments and emergency deliveries
- Maintain clean driving record and uphold company safety standards
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with minimum 2 years verifiable experience
- Clean MVR (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in all weather conditions
- Knowledge of Philadelphia metro area and surrounding regions
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening (company-provided)
- Strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities
- Availability for overnight shifts with flexible weekend options
