Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A or Class B) safely and efficiently on local and regional routes.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Load and unload freight using proper equipment, ensuring cargo security.
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork, including electronic logging devices (ELD).
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Current Medical Card and DOT Drug Screen on file.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Ability to work night shifts (10 PM - 6 AM or similar).
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety protocols.
- Professional demeanor and reliable attendance record.
