Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL required) for night shift cargo transport
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols during all operations
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route planning and timely deliveries
- Secure and verify cargo documentation for cross-border shipments
- Communicate effectively with clients and warehouse staff during loading/unloading
- Respond proactively to route changes and weather-related challenges
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean MVR
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR or regional driving experience
- Current DOT medical certification and TWIC card preferred
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions
- Pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Familiarity with California highway systems and border crossing procedures
