Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles during night shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Transport freight between Dallas, TX, and Florida distribution centers
- Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Adhere to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route planning and delivery timelines
- Secure cargo and ensure proper handling of specialized materials
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Night shift availability and preference
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in all weather conditions
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Experience with multi-stop routes and time-sensitive deliveries
- Willingness to cross-train for Florida routes
