Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers on overnight routes with precise delivery timelines
- Conduct thorough pre-trip/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate HOS logs
- Load/unload freight efficiently using provided equipment and pallet jacks
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding route conditions and ETAs
- Maintain clean driving record and comply with all FMCSA requirements
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement (preferred)
- Minimum 1 year tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts
- Familiarity with Texas road networks and border crossings
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
