Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers for overnight freight deliveries
- Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate delivery logs
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for route optimization and load security
- Adhere to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Handle time-sensitive shipments with precision and care
- Communicate effectively with clients and warehouse personnel
- Report maintenance issues and ensure vehicle readiness
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of Texas road networks and DOT regulations
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexible availability for overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
