Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles in adherence to all DOT and company regulations.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo with precision, ensuring no damage occurs during transit.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging devices (ELD) and delivery paperwork.
- Navigate efficiently through traffic, adhering to strict delivery schedules and time windows.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any potential delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Must be available to work Night Shift shifts (e.g., 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service excellence.
- Basic math skills for cargo calculation and cash handling.
