Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and heavy equipment in varying weather conditions.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload freight efficiently using hand trucks and forklifts when necessary.
- Maintain accurate driver logs (DOT 30/70/1445) and mileage records.
- Navigate routes efficiently to meet delivery deadlines.
- Interact professionally with clients and warehouse personnel.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (Class A or B) with required endorsements (Tanker, Hazmat, Doubles/Triples preferred but not required).
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Clean driving record (MVR check required).
- Ability to work night shifts (10 PM - 6 AM) and weekends as needed.
- Strong physical stamina for lifting, climbing, and extended periods of standing.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
