Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for long-haul routes within Ohio and neighboring states
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, HOS guidelines, and company safety protocols
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate electronic logs (ELD)
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient loading/unloading and delivery scheduling
- Manage cargo documentation and ensure secure transport of materials
- Respond proactively to route changes and weather-related challenges
- Maintain clean driving record and represent the company professionally
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Ohio roadways and regional logistics hubs
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Basic familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Willingness to undergo comprehensive background check
