Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) on designated routes including North Carolina and Kentucky.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate driver logs (ELD) and all required paperwork.
- Deliver freight on time while adhering to strict delivery schedules.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding cargo status and delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B required.
- Must possess a clean driving record and a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Must be at least 21 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Ability to work night shifts (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM) and weekends as required.
