Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) safely and efficiently on designated routes throughout the Boston metro area.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment, ensuring freight is secure and protected during transit.
- Verify delivery documents, manifests, and bills of lading for accuracy.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies at all times.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the vehicle interior and exterior.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or Class B required.
- Must possess a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and pass a drug screen.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Must be available to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to work independently.
