Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A vehicles in strict compliance with FMCSA regulations and company policies.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (DVIR) to ensure mechanical integrity and safety.
- Load and unload cargo securely using proper handling techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery paperwork.
- Provide exceptional customer service while interacting with clients and dock personnel.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, traffic signals, and right-of-way rules at all times.
- Keep the vehicle interior and exterior clean and presentable.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Must possess a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations (e.g., DUI, Reckless Driving).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience in the last 3 years.
- Ability to work night shifts (typically 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM).
- Must possess a current, valid DOT Medical Card.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
