Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL required) for long-haul routes
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules during night shift operations
- Maintain accurate logbooks and comply with FMCSA regulations
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Coordinate with dispatch for route adjustments and load security
- Document delivery exceptions and resolve customer inquiries
- Ensure hazardous materials handling protocols are followed when applicable
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years recent commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
