Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van/reefer) during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Execute efficient local and regional routes with precise time management
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and documentation
- Maintain flawless delivery records and communicate with dispatch
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with warehouse teams for seamless loading/unloading
- Respond proactively to route changes and weather conditions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no DUIs in 5+ years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Night shift availability and preference for nocturnal work
- Proficient in trip planning and DOT compliance documentation
- Strong navigation skills (GPS and physical map reading)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in varied weather
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of Minneapolis metro area highways preferred
