Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) for overnight freight deliveries
- Adhere to DOT regulations and conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections
- Plan efficient routes using GPS systems while meeting tight delivery windows
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment and securement techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic documentation
- Communicate professionally with dispatch, clients, and warehouse teams
- Respond proactively to route changes and weather-related challenges
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of over-the-road or regional experience
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Familiarity with DOT regulations and HOS compliance
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Knowledge of Colorado roadways and mountain driving conditions
