Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial trucks for local/regional night routes
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT logs
- Deliver freight to Seattle-area warehouses and distribution centers
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding delivery status and delays
- Assist with secure loading/unloading operations when required
- Operate in all weather conditions with defensive driving techniques
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean MVR (3+ years experience)
- 1+ year of night shift or overnight driving experience
- Strong knowledge of Seattle metropolitan area roadways
- Pass DOT physical and random drug screening requirements
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and climb trailer steps safely
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Basic navigation technology proficiency (GPS, ELD systems)
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends
