Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) during overnight hours across Southern California
- Execute efficient delivery routes while adhering to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Load/unload freight using proper equipment techniques to prevent damage
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status and route challenges
- Utilize GPS technology for real-time navigation and route optimization
- Complete required paperwork with meticulous attention to detail
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety compliance
- Exceptional time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in overnight shifts with minimal supervision
- Pass background check and drug screening as per company policy
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation systems
