Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles during overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Load/unload freight with precision using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Maintain meticulous electronic logbook compliance and delivery documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Navigate complex urban and rural routes with GPS efficiency
- Adhere strictly to HOS regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate proactively with dispatch team and clients regarding shipment status
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs repeatedly and operate warehouse equipment
- Strong familiarity with Missouri/Kansas highway systems and regulations
- Exceptional time management and route optimization skills
- DOT medical certification current and maintained
- Pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed
