Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) during overnight shifts (11 PM - 7 AM)
- Transport freight across Indiana and Midwest regions with strict adherence to DOT regulations
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle documentation
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse teams
- Resolve delivery exceptions and route challenges proactively
- Submit daily logs and maintenance reports electronically
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of Indianapolis metro area and surrounding highways
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Experience with refrigerated or dry van trailers preferred
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Team player with strong communication abilities
