Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional freight transportation
- Execute pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT-compliant logs
- Deliver freight to designated locations within strict time windows
- Secure and unload cargo using proper equipment and safety protocols
- Communicate with dispatch team regarding route conditions and delivery status
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations and company safety standards
- Document delivery exceptions and maintain cargo condition reports
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of California roadways and regulations
- Availability for flexible night shift schedule (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Basic familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD)
