Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles during overnight hours
- Execute precise deliveries to Portland metro businesses and distribution centers
- Maintain strict compliance with FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Perform thorough pre/post-trip inspections and document maintenance needs
- Optimize routes using GPS technology for on-time deliveries
- Communicate professionally with dispatch and clients during critical transit hours
- Handle secure cargo with attention to detail and confidentiality
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with HazMat endorsement (or willingness to obtain)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no DUI/DWI in last 5 years
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of Portland geography and regional highways
- Pass DOT physical and background check
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Flexibility to adjust schedule during peak seasons
