Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles (refrigerated trailers) on overnight routes
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT compliance logs
- Load/unload freight using pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided)
- Navigate efficiently through Fresno's distribution network and surrounding regions
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules while maintaining safety protocols
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and warehouse teams
- Monitor cargo temperature and secure loads per FMCSA standards
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations)
- 1+ year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- HazMat endorsement preferred (training available)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in varying weather conditions
- Pass DOT physical, background check, and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Central Valley geography
- Flexible availability for overnight shifts (6 PM - 6 AM)
- Basic computer skills for electronic logging
