Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for overnight deliveries across Northeast Ohio
- Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure DOT compliance documentation is accurate
- Handle time-sensitive freight including temperature-controlled and hazardous materials
- Maintain detailed delivery logs and electronic logging device (ELD) records
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments and priority shipments
- Secure cargo and verify delivery signatures for accountability
- Provide exceptional customer service during nighttime operations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of tractor-trailer experience
- Availability for overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM) with flexible scheduling
- Familiarity with Cleveland metro area and surrounding Ohio highways
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Hazmat endorsement preferred but not required
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
