Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Transport freight between Houston warehouses, distribution centers, and delivery points
- Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs per DOT regulations
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Secure cargo and ensure compliance with safety protocols at all times
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members during shift operations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in varying weather conditions
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Familiarity with Houston area routes and traffic patterns
- Strong attention to detail and time-management skills
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
