Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (tractor-trailers) during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload freight with precision using forklifts or pallet jacks
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging systems
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle roadworthiness
- Navigate complex routes while optimizing delivery timelines
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse teams
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Night shift availability and preference for nocturnal work
- Familiarity with DOT regulations and FMCSA compliance
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly during loading/unloading
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting knowledge
- Strong time management and route navigation skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
