Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van or refrigerated) during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Accurately track and document delivery progress using our advanced telematics system
- Perform thorough pre-trip inspections and ensure DOT compliance at all times
- Maintain professional communication with dispatch team and clients throughout routes
- Securely load/unload freight with precision and attention to detail
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules while maintaining safety-first protocols
- Submit accurate mileage and delivery reports daily
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR or regional driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations and Hours of Service compliance
- Proficient with electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during overnight shifts
- Pass background check and drug screening as per DOT requirements
- Previous experience with refrigerated freight preferred but not required
