Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) for nighttime deliveries across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and ensure DOT compliance for all vehicles
- Load/unload freight with precision and maintain accurate delivery documentation
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and defensive driving practices
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and clients regarding delivery status
- Maintain electronic logs (ELD) and comply with Hours of Service regulations
- Report mechanical issues and coordinate with maintenance team
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Texas roadways and night navigation
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELD) and freight handling
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- No major preventable accidents in past 3 years
