Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for local/regional night deliveries
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Load/unload freight using proper equipment and techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse teams
- Operate in all weather conditions during overnight hours
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Seattle metro area roadways
- Flexibility to work 10-12 hour night shifts (6 PM - 6 AM)
- Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- No preventable accidents in past 3 years
