Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks for local/regional night deliveries
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and documentation
- Maintain DOT compliance logs and electronic records
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment and techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Adapt to changing routes and delivery schedules
- Implement safety protocols for hazardous materials (when applicable)
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A or B license with clean MVR
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of Ohio roadways and regulations
- Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts (10-12 hours)
- Basic computer literacy for e-logging systems
