Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for multi-state deliveries during overnight shifts
- Maintain meticulous electronic logs and DOT compliance documentation
- Perform pre-trip inspections and report vehicle maintenance needs promptly
- Coordinate with dispatch teams to optimize delivery routes and timelines
- Handle hazardous materials shipments with specialized training protocols
- Uphold strict safety standards in all weather and traffic conditions
- Assist with loading/unloading procedures using proper equipment
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Current DOT medical certification and required endorsements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS systems
- Excellent time management and route navigation skills
- Strong communication abilities for customer interactions
- Willingness to pass mandatory background checks and drug screenings
