Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) during night shifts
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Complete multi-stop deliveries within Sacramento metro area
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and vehicle inspection reports
- Coordinate with dispatch team for route optimization
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment handling
- Respond proactively to route changes and delivery exceptions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL license (mandatory)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR and no preventable accidents in last 3 years
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Knowledge of California highway systems and local routes
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in overnight hours
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting knowledge preferred
