Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) during overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Transport goods across the Midwest with strict adherence to DOT regulations
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging system (ELD)
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization
- Ensure secure cargo handling and delivery verification protocols
- Represent our company with professional conduct at all customer sites
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean MVR
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Pass background check and drug screening requirements
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
